High Tide and High Time for Climate Action

Saturday October 19 will be a Wicked High King Tide event, where the Boston Long Wharf will see excessive flooding brought on by the climate crisis. Join XR Boston, Stop Private Jet Expansion, Beyond Plastics, 350 Mass, Mothers Out Front, and other climate organizations to demand that our government take immediate action to stop this crisis before it's too late. We'll dance in the water to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. We'll be joined by speakers from across the climate movement, and the Red Rebels will make an appearance.

It's High Tide and High Time for Climate Action. Come see for yourself what kind of flooding Boston is already experiencing! Signs and will be provided or feel free to bring your own. The climate crisis is SCARY! Wear all black, black and orange, or dress as "The Dead" - Ghosts or Skeletons. If you don't have a costume, don't worry! Wear all black and we'll give you a skull mask.

Wear rain boots or shoes that can get wet - The tide can get up to knee deep and we'll stand together while the tide comes in. There will also be a dry area where you can stand if you want to stay dry.
