The holidays can be a time of excess…food, gifts, travel, decorations, parties! For example, studies show that Americans generate 25% more trash between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve than during the rest of the year! But wait! We can take steps to make the holidays eco-friendly without taking anything away from the spirit of the season.
