Coming this Spring! Andover’s First Youth Sustainability Fair

In an effort to build youth engagement around climate action, WECAN has partnered with the Andover Youth Center to host a youth-based environmental sustainability fair. The Youth Sustainability Fair will be held on April 27th, 2024 at the Cormier Youth Center to create a collaborative space for the youth of local communities to share and support each other’s work towards creating a more sustainable future.

At the fair, there will be an assortment of groups with presentations, activities, and artwork to interact with that ties back to the theme of climate action. At the Youth Sustainability Fair the majority of presenters will be students and young adults, which gives other community members a chance to learn about what the younger generations are doing to solve climate action problems. Ultimately the goal of this event is to have youth leading the discussion of what comes next in our battle against climate change, while presenting some of the amazing initiatives that they have been a part of.
